Complete insulation package for a refinery turnaround
A refinery turnaround had a fixed 21-day window. The insulation scope spanned nine material types across four temperature bands, previously bought from six suppliers on separate lead times. Any late line would idle an insulation crew.
Outcome: The package shipped as three sequenced containers timed to the crew mobilisation rather than one bulk delivery, which removed the on-site storage problem entirely. Mill certificates were presented as a single bound dossier for the client’s QA sign-off.
Cold-storage envelope for a food processing facility
A greenfield cold store needed PUF panels, doors, hardware and refrigeration equipment landed at a port with limited handling capability and a narrow customs clearance window.
Outcome: The envelope package landed complete in a single call, with door hardware matched to panel sets so installation ran room by room. Duty was assessed correctly at first entry with no reclassification dispute.
Private-label FR workwear programme
A distributor wanted to launch its own FR workwear line. The commercial requirement was a lower landed cost than the imported brand it was replacing, without dropping below the EN ISO 11612 certification its customers audited against.
Outcome: Certification was verified by an accredited laboratory before any bulk commitment was made, and the programme moved to a scheduled call-off arrangement with stock held at origin.
Polymer call-off programme for a moulding plant
A moulder was buying resin spot, exposed to price swings and carrying more inventory than the balance sheet was comfortable with.
Outcome: The plant moved from spot buying to scheduled release, and inventory shifted off its own floor into bonded storage until it was needed.
